Junior Producer

Tennis Channel is seeking a Junior Producer to operate within the Content and Live Production Department. The Junior Producer will work closely with and under the guidance of the Senior Supervising Producer on all aspects of running the day-to-day content, including pre-production, production, post-production and other projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists with shoots, edits, and customization of existing pieces to be sponsored
• Supports all Tennis Channel, T2, and Tennis Channel Plus video needs (Avid)
• Ideates with producers on new series, and ways to improve LIVE coverage
• Manages media after a shoot and throughout various tennis tournaments
• Works with editors and producers on larger pieces
• Runs content edits during some events throughout the year
• Handles reporting and administration of: Music cues, footage reporting etc, Creation of “special” digital only pieces and kinetic texts, Production support and content creation as needed for partners
• Assists editors daily, as well as give daily direction to overnight Preditor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to pre-edit/layout projects in Avid
• Excellent references
• A love for the game of tennis and knowledge about the professional game is necessary
• Weekend availability

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
