This five-week evening course is designed to provide an actors foundation in the basic skills and knowledge required to tackle their first role in a short film or play. This course takes ‘Practical Aesthetics’ as its base, a system developed by David Mamet and William H. Macy, based on the teachings of Aristotle, Stanislavski and Meisner. All sessions are completely practical, some filmed, with all written materials provided by Raindance.
