Working in collaboration with producers and supervisors, it will be your role to maintain edit sequences as they evolve and run various client and internal supervisor screenings. With a strong attention to detail it is the editors role to maintain a high standard of content for delivery to clients.

Working for major Studios including Netflix etc…. a meticulous attention to detail is required in the challenging and rewarding post.

About the role

  • Running internal daily review sessions
  • Checking material before it is sent to clients
  • Ingesting new material and maintaining Shotgrid database
  • Keeping edits up to date with latest shots
  • Running client review sessions

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a VFX Editorial Department on high-end long-form productions (TV/Feature Films).
  • Demonstrate a good level of knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Hiero
  • Knowledge of other non-linear editing platforms a bonus e.g. Avid.
  • Good understanding of Film and HD video formats, files, frame rates and resolutions and familiarity with working with different video codecs.
  • Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
  • Experience working within a post production environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of highly creative artists and technicians.

Desirable

  • Some understanding of colour pipeline and basic comp knowledge
