Development Producer

Emmy award winning production company with various projects in development and production across a number of different genres is looking for a Development Producer to join a growing development team. Ideal individual is a passionate self-starter with great writing/research ability, and a keen sense of what good programming in both the scripted and non-scripted television space is. This person will work directly with the VP of Development to iterate new ideas, and work extensively on pitch decks and other materials for future sales. Candidate should understand the development process, have experience putting together pitch materials and generating new ideas, and have a good sense of the landscape of current programming across all networks/streamers.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating pitch materials – decks, one sheets, episode breakdowns, and outlines
• Lead outreach and research efforts for casting and new ideas
• Track development projects and help manage organizational systems

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office Suite, GSuite/Google Drive, and Zoom.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Candidate will interact with many industry professionals, senior executives within the company, and occasionally high-profile talent, so confidentiality is a MUST.
• Creative with keen sense of TV genres and formats
• Strong research skills
