About the role:

To support our growing Digital Cinema team, the Motion Graphics & VFX Designer will support our graphics teams with graphical localization of major feature films, trailer campaigns, social and traditional media for Hollywood studios, independents and global content providers.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D motion graphics and VFX combined with a good understanding of the technical aspects of creative processes to deliver to the highest quality standards.

A highly motivated individual with a flexible attitude and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

The role is office-based.

Responsibilities

  • Create 2D and 3D localised motion graphics and visual effects to high level of finish for feature and trailer projects
  • Abide by company security policies and protect information assets entrusted to you
  • Deal with tight deadlines to deliver accurate assets on time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Maxon Cinema 4D and associated technologies
  • Nuke working knowledge a plus
  • Good 2D and 3D tracking, match moving, compositing and VFX skills
  • Good understanding of video resolution, formats and technical specs
  • Strong typographic skills essential
  • Basic understanding of principles of colour science
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player and able to manage workflow across different simultaneous projects
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach, with ability to think outside the box
  • Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks
  • Creative and proactive attitude

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in motion graphics within a post-production environment
  • Previous experience working with localised graphics an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience
