Post Production Coordinator

The Look is seeking a Post Production Coordinator to join its growing team and help service our amazing clients.

The successful candidate will have a love of episodic drama and feature films and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in picture post production.

Overview:

Our post coordinators are responsible for supporting the post producers in delivering projects to the end client. On occasion our coordinators take the lead with clients when the producer is unavailable.

They will be expected to have a full working knowledge of production workflows and how best to utilise resources in order to deliver projects on budget and to specification.

We expect candidates to be excited about team working and you must be looking at post production as a long term career, not a stepping stone to another area of the industry.

You would report in to a senior producer, but must be self motivated and a clear communicator.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing bookings team for facility
• Effectively utilising resources to manage work through the facility to project delivery
• Leading bookings assistants
• Managing client bookings
• Managing client data and editorial hand over for instructing in house staff – Matrix
• Reporting project progress to client
• Managing project specific overages for billing
• Attending workflow meetings, spotting sessions and online sessions
• Liaising with the client (specifically PPS) to problem solve and organise
• Creating quotes for new and repeat business as required
• Negotiation with resource and client for best project results.

• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Appreciation of the importance of diversity and inclusion
• Understanding of how to prioritise and respond accordingly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to multitask
• Bookings coordination software – Farmers Wife a plus
• Windows and iOS software packages a must
• G Suite.
