This is an entry-level role, for someone who has some experience in animation production and who will assist the team to keep a successful animation production running smoothly.

Lupus Films has developed an international reputation for beautifully crafted film adaptations of classic works of literature which have been seen in cinemas and on major broadcasters and SVOD channels worldwide.

Lupus Films is looking for an individual to work with the team on our upcoming animated TV special being produced in TVPaint. You will support the team in our Islington studio and those working for us remotely. You will report directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the production team
  • Note-taking at meetings
  • Helping set up animators’ workstations
  • Setting up TVPaint files for animators
  • Helping prepare review sessions on SyncSketch
  • Calendar and spreadsheet updating
  • Communicating between departments
  • Providing IT support
  • Opening and closing the studio
  • Answering the telephones
  • Responding to email enquiries
  • Supporting the production team with ad hoc tasks as requested

Knowledge, skills, and experience

  • Animation graduate
  • Experience of the 2D animation pipeline
  • Experience working with TVPaint software
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and friendly and with a positive attitude
  • Proactive and willing to learn
  • Able to take instruction
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience working in an animation studio is desirable
