BIG PICTURE:

We are looking for a highly organized Scheduling Associate who can take the lead in overseeing and creating day-to-day schedules and call sheets for various productions. The perfect candidate knows how to plan highly efficient productions to minimize any downtime. You should be skilled in managing multiple productions at once, extremely detail oriented, analytical, and able to effectively communicate across several departments. This person will be tasked with ensuring a smooth workflow while providing flexible and on the spot problem resolutions for productions pertaining to both in the studio and out of the studio. Ultimately, this individual has a strong passion to drive high quality results and improve processes within a high-growth environment that includes tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Creating call sheets that maximize efficiency for the order in which scenes should be shot in and when crew members and actors should arrive on set
• Obsessing about efficiency to reduce downtime and unnecessary expenditures stemming from people waiting around on set
• Leading the logistical planning of daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term scheduling for in studio and on-location shoots for our production teams
• Orchestrating production schedules and working with all parties to ensure tight deadlines are met
• Developing cohesive and strategic plans using time and sets wisely
• Providing direct communication regarding the studio and logistic activities between shoots, production crews, and all pertaining departments
• Overseeing studio assets such as equipment, props, and set availability
• Proactively identifying potential issues/problems with production and coming up with solutions
• Participating in development and execution of new processes and procedures

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience handling scheduling for a production team within the entertainment industry
• Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and Docs; Monday.com and Skype experience a plus
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of initiative
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, with confidence to multi-task
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet deadlines

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Scheduling Associate will report directly to the Pre-Production Senior Manager.

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

Currently, the Scheduling Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA!
