Role summary
The purpose of the Junior Studio Production Manager is to manage clients attending the TV studios from first contract to completion. This ranges from but is not limited to negotiating quotes, issuing contracts, scheduling and booking kit and crew necessary for the clients to produce their show.

Nature and scope
Most of the role holders time is spent booking kit and crew, signing off invoices and communicating with clients to understand and deliver their specific needs during their time at the Pinewood TV studios. Planning horizons would span up to 6-8 months in advance, but they would also be involved in the day to day execution of those plans.
The role holder would require an in depth understanding of TV Studio Production, have an awareness of H&S practices, whilst being highly organised and an effective communicator. They would manage a team of up to 16 freelancers in the operational delivery of a show which requires an element of team leadership skills
They have the autonomy to take full control of the operational delivery of productions, provided they operate within the budgetary constraints of each quote provided to the client. Anything that would result in an increased cost would have to be signed off by the Head of TV. New supplier requests would be in line with Pinewood’s wider recruitment process. The incumbent would need to consider the Offcom regulations in relation to booking crew (a % needs to be based outside of the M25).
The success of the role is underpinned by building and maintaining relationships with client’s freelancers and internal stakeholders (finance, HR, Operations).
