Senior Edit Assistant

There is now a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Edit Assistant to join our technical operations.

You will be at the heart of the MCR team, ensuring edits and grades run smoothly and programmes are delivered to the highest standards.

With the opening of a second central London facility in 2023, Azimuth will see tremendous growth. This brand-new building will include multiple rooms that are designed to be flexible and collaborative workspaces for producers, directors, and sound designers to create their best work.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Edit Assistant to join our machine room team.

You will be working across Avid, Resolve and Baselight suites and delivering in HD through to 4k HDR resolution. This will entail working on predominantly long-form episodic high-end factual documentaries and more.

You will gain valuable knowledge of the industry’s most current workflows and the opportunity to advance in a fast-paced and expanding operation.

What we are looking for

You will need working knowledge and experience in the following:

• Assisting with conforms and preparing video projects for online editing in Avid/Resolve/Baselight/Premiere
• Assisting with conforms and preparing audio projects for ProTools mixing
• Working knowledge of NLE media storage, sharing, file formats alongside excellent computers skills in PC (Win 10) & Mac
• A minimum of one year of experience as an Edit assistant in Post Production or in-house facility.
• You must have good client-facing skills, flexibility and composure to remain collected under pressure, be highly motivated, energetic, and organised, and be a great team player to succeed.
