Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Producer with a solid track record in commercial and sport production, based in the North of England.


LS Productions is the UK’s largest production service company providing expert local knowledge on commercials, film and TV, music videos, fashion and sport campaigns. As a Senior Producer at LS Productions you will work with the team to develop, win and lead business for all clients who want to shoot in the UK, whether that be motion or stills with a key focus on Commercial & Sport. You will be the first point of contact for such briefs in the North England area; being responsible for understanding the creative & production brief and subsequently providing a detailed quote, converting the job, doing the production, and negotiating the final budget.

On confirmation of a production, it will be your responsibility to bring together and lead the team, overseeing all vital elements for a successful shoot. On completion, you will reconcile the budget and send the final account to the client. You will work to our high standards throughout the process, ensuring compliance with our templates and procedures.

You will work on Commercial & Sport as the main priority establishing clients from Brands directly, but as well as this production companies and advertising agencies UK and internationally. The above will be undertaken in conjunction with our business development team to enable a rounded approach to pursuing & managing new relationships, key accounts and repeat business opportunities for LS.

As a senior member of the North England production team, you will also be supporting in building the production team as required from freelance to permanent basis. This will be done in conjunction with our Head of Production.


  • Expert knowledge of advertising production procedures, especially bidding and APA guidelines.
  • Well-connected and respected in the industry, with focus in Commercial and Sport Productions.
  • Great organisational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Capable of working within and leading a team, and of training more junior team members.
  • Have strong negotiation, budgeting and financial reporting skills.
  • Maintain quality standards across the production of all creative work.
  • A thorough understanding and experience of the sales processes and closing business deals.
  • Ability to manage relationships pro-actively within and across teams, internally and externally.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management.
  • Ability to work alone, at a distance, but at the same time to be part of a wider team.


You must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills and time management are essential, and you must be able to work within a team and be good at problem solving whilst adapting to new situations and challenges.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build great working relationships with all departments
  • Solid experience using IT systems, including GSuite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in the face of changing circumstances
  • Ability to prioritise work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • A commitment to embrace and advocate for inclusion is essential


You will report to the Head of Production, Emilie Dumas, and in her absence, the Managing Director & Executive Producer, Sarah Drummond.

You will work from our Manchester office at ABC Buildings, 21-23 Quay Street, Manchester, M4 3AE or remotely. We operate a hybrid working policy, but you will be required to work from the office, approximately 2 days a week. In addition you may be required to travel to our other offices in Edinburgh and London for company wide meetings, and to set where needed, and expenses will be provided for this.
