We are a non-profit community interest company called Crawley Film Initiative which helps young people between the ages of 16 – 25 explore a career path in the film industry. We do this by creating unique projects where our young learners can either gain experience or an opportunity to work on professional projects which can help further establish their career path.We are soon to enter pre-production on a mini-series called Romeo. Hotel. Eleven, a crime drama series. It will be filmed between Crawley.Crawley Film Initiative (CFI) is set up in the town of Crawley and produces projects by bringing on professionals and those at the start of their careers. By getting the two working together hand in hand they use the projects as a tool to further train and give experience. CFI also runs an internal film academy and uses its students on projects so they can get enhanced film training on sets & locations. We are looking for crew who have professional experience but are open minded to working with entry level crew to help mentor them. Our ethos is learn by doing, so we’re looking for crew who experienced and open minded to mentoring through a similar ethos.
We are looking for experienced crew to join us on a community project for our non-profit film company. Sadly, due to being a non-profit and working on lower budgets we are only in a position to pay NMW for these roles. We are filming 5 days a week for 6 weeks and will need people who are passionate about what we’re trying to achieve with the project. Please reach out if the project sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, if you require more information about who we are visit our website.
