Coda Post Production has an opportunity for a Trainee Post Producer.

About Us

Coda is a well-established post production facility, specialising in high end picture and audio, from documentaries to commercials to promos and feature films. We work closely with production companies, broadcasters and distributors, providing long-form and short-form content for BBC, Discovery, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Virgin Media, Netflix and Disney, to name a few.
We have three sites, two in Charlotte Street, W1, and a fourth site which we have just opened in the heart of The Lanes in Brighton.

We have vacancies for both Short-form and Long-form Trainee Post Producers

About the Role

Your duties will include:

  • Working closely with our friendly and talented team of producers as we introduce you to bookings
  • Initially coordinating audio-only or picture-only finishing work
  • In time working on more complex jobs involving offline, online, full post and more complex file deliveries and formats
  • Delivering outstanding work for our clients
  • Ensuring clients’ needs are met quickly and efficiently, skilfully managing expectations and finding creative ways to make it work for our clients
  • Understanding and appreciating the creative and technical aspects of our and our clients’ work
  • Working closely with our outstanding team of edit assistants, editors, colourists, audio mixers and runners
  • Managing and updating our booking system
  • Managing client relationships before, during and after each project
  • Working with our Commercial Director to encourage repeat and new business.

About You

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • A solid understanding of post-production workflows and processes
  • A motivated, positive and approachable manner
  • A Self-starter attitude
  • A calm and collected approach to challenging situations and tight deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of an entry-level position e.g., running, front of house, bookings.
