iMedia Brands, Inc. is seeking a Television Producer/Director to lead the overall look and feel of the show in our Eden Prairie, MN location.

The Producer/Director (Production Director) works in real time calling for camera shots, puts the appropriate graphics on-air, runs digital effects, and works with the floor crew, hosts, and line producers to make sure everyone understands what needs to happen next to be successful. The Producer/Director (Production Director) ensures that production levels meet the standards in the On-Air Execution Policy.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in studio/television broadcasting
  • Knowledge and operating skills of Sony switchers
  • Knowledge and operating skills of the VizRt Systems
  • Knowledge and operating skills of the Crispin Rapid Play device Server

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television Broadcasting, Communications, or similar field
