Summary

Legendary Entertainment’s Creative Marketing Team is seeking a Video Editor to help craft B2B and B2C AV pieces for its various divisions. Whether a book trailer for Comics and Publishing, AV clips for Digital and Social, or legacy sizzles and sales pieces for our Film and Television divisions. The Video Editor will be able to dip their hands in Legendary’s vast project catalog! Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of editing and Creative Suite Platforms and possess a willingness to work within several mediums and projects at once. The Video Editor will have the opportunity to sit in on creative meetings, campaign kickoffs, project briefs, and collaborate with the Chief of Creative Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to establish the desired look and feel for the AV piece to be created.
• Engage with the design team to create lively pieces and provide feedback to ensure that requirements are met in asset development.
• Gather, transfer, and sync all forms of media, ensuring content is updated in the correct format.
• Expertly and quickly edit video, graphics, audio, and other multimedia elements for high-quality, high-value content.
• Create engaging video content for different platforms, including social media, website, and offline sharing.
• Must be able to meet assigned deadlines and milestones.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in video production, film, or a related field is strongly preferred
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Capacity to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Experience with contemporary sound and video editing and basic motion graphics techniques
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
