Overview

This family-run video production agency creates remarkable videos for a wide range of clients. They create anything from adverts and corporate videos, to case studies, testimonials, how-tos, event videos, 2D/3D animation and photography.

The role

As a videographer, you’ll be producing high quality videos for clients. You’d be joining a small team, reporting into the Production Director. You’d be working on projects like editing drone footage, filming at different locations, doing some animation, directing actors… not one day is the same!

Your week will tend to look a bit like this:

Meeting with the client to discuss upcoming projects
Filling out video plans; video flows, storyboarding, video planning, strategy and scripting
Communicating with the client about the plan and putting together dates and locations for filming
Editing, uploading and sending draft videos
Following up with clients to get feedback and approval
You’ll be working an eight-hour day with an hour for lunch. Flexible working is offered when you need it and the team are more than happy to accommodate more regular breaks/shorter days.

The requirements

You should be confident talking to clients, as a lot of your work will be centred around understanding their needs. You should be creative, adaptable and work well under pressure. You should have a good understanding of video/content strategy and be proficient in premier pro, after effects and other adobe products.

The benefits

Working here, you’ll get 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays). Salary is dependent on experience but will be between £18,000 and £30,000. More senior level candidates will be expected to have additional experience, such as script-writing, animation, voice over etc.
Requirements
Confident when client facing, good client liaison skills, good attention to detail, organised, professional, highly skilled in pre-production (script writing & shot listing, copy writing is useful), filming and post-production areas, good time keeping, happy to go above and beyond the call of duty, full drivers licence, car, able to travel to shoots etc., able to manage logistics of filming on site, confident to go out and film by themselves, can work to deadlines, and copes well under pressure.
