Looking for diverse filmmakers for migrant communities project

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Media Trust are looking for filmmakers between the ages of 18-30 that self-identify with a migrant or diaspora community to create three-minute films that shed light on migrant and diaspora communities in London. They will need to be available from late March until the end of May.

The films are part of MyLondon, a media training project funded by Trust for London aiming to amplify the voices of 12 migrant and diaspora communities in London. This ground-breaking project seeks to highlight the positive stories about hidden communities and challenge misrepresentation and underrepresentation in the media.

As part of the project, Media Trust will be commissioning 12 short films to showcase these amazing communities and their contribution to the unique and glorious diversity of London.

If you, or anyone you know, are interested and want to hear more, please apply here with your showreel and CV.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 28th March.
