I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in Digital Media Production and I have 3 years of experience using software such as Photoshop and 2 years of experience in editing and colour grading with DaVinci Resolve and Avid. I also have 3 years of experience in photography and videography.
I had the opportunity to work as a creative director on a project for a jewellery company called Tribe + Glory. The CEOs of the company trusted me to look for models, the studio, clothes and come up with a concept that was true to their brand in order to showcase the new collection. This is an achievement that I am most proud of because the pictures were used to pitch to Conde Nast and Bloomingdales. This also gave me insight into the career path that I would like to pursue in the future.
I was elected to be the social media manager for my university society. I had to update the Instagram page weekly with content from our meetings, design cover images and create a layout that held the audience’s attention. This role also involved promoting events as the society has many branches in the UK and HQ organises weekend concerts and retreats that need to be promoted. This was quite challenging for me because I had to take on this role during my third year and that required a serious amount of planning which lead me to discover scheduling tools for Instagram.
I volunteered as a photographer in Hillsong church and soon joined the Powerhouse social media team where I assisted in creating content for the Instagram accounts. I also filmed and edited the 2019 Crews news video which was shown to the children at the summer camp.
