Marco Petulla

My name is Marco, and I am a BA Film Graduate at Oxford Brookes University, with the ultimate desire to make original and innovative films, with particular involvement across the directorial, cinematographic, and screenwriting departments/positions. All areas completely fascinate me, and learning upon each specialism is all-the-more rewarding and exciting. A true creative joy.

Recently, I have had the pleasure of working across four commercial shoots as a Production Runner, which only enhanced my eagerness to work within Film and Television Production. The set, the crew, the costumes, the production design, the lighting, the equipment, the cast, the excitement and growing energy… This is everything that I adore on-set, whereby collaboration, and sheer effort is incredibly gratifying.

Having worked closely with the Producer, PA/PMs, Camera and Lighting, and Art Departments, I have become more comfortable in collaborating and assisting colleagues across each specialism, maintaining quick-paced efficiency on-set without the need to rush. This has additionally enhanced my understanding and appreciation upon each craft, especially in co-ordination with one another.
Additionally, I have worked across a range of short film projects whilst at University, having written, produced, directed and photographed my own work. I am quick on my feet, economical, productive, on-time, trustworthy, and experienced in working across tightly scheduled film shoots, forever there to help in a professional, motivating, and hard-working manner.

To join the production team and be a part of this Film project would be unmeasurably rewarding and appreciated. I haven’t yet had the honour of working on a Feature or Television Production, but I would be truly grateful to begin this invaluable experience with you, right away. I am so eager to work and grow within the industry that has had such a defining impact upon my life. And as each day comes, a new experience or challenge to learn from.

This is an amazing collaborative and networking production experience opportunity, and I truly hope to prove myself and my sheer dedication and effort on-set, working alongside industry professionals to create something truly wonderful and adored, forming a growing bond that will last with you and your team, across the current and upcoming projects, indefinitely.
